| Attention NorCal and SoCal Z-ers that are considering or planning to attend ZCON06 in TX this Memorial Day weekend. I've put calls into a couple of carriers to see what sort of price it would cost for a group pick-up and drop-off in TX with the same for the return. A single-priced round trip was about $1800, but I've asked them to price based on us filling up the car carrier with one major pick-up in NorCal, then another in SoCal. The other option would be to have one mass pick-up in SoCal - I'm pricing both. All that I'm looking for now is to start a list of potential interested parties. At some point I would need a deposit, followed by full payment. I'm thinking and hoping that the RT cost will be about 1/2 or less than the single-car price, given the ease of pick-up and drop-off. Make your pro/con list, weigh the costs, and let me know here or through email. Consider you will be at least two full days on the road if you drive. If you are interested, let me know what day you would plan on going down - I assume we're all staying until the end of the convention. Also keep in mind that you'd need your car ready about a week ahead of time. Thanks,
